This Azilal rug has been kept in a private collection since its 1970s production, making it considerably older than the majority of what is available on the market today. It has yellow tufted accents making it a rarity of its kind. Before the appearance of additional secondary colors in Azilal rugs the 1970s there was very little knowledge of dying techniques in the Azilal region.
