Connecticut Gets Colorful & New York Gets Kendell
We love Connecticut Cottages & Gardens' Editorial director DJ Carey's lively curatorial eye in the February issue as she explores Bold & Bright carpet designs. It is hard to look through it and not feel inspired. Plus, we spy Joseph Carini's new Hot Pink Zebra top row center!
The design community is super excited, too, about the upcoming launch of New York Cottages & Gardens with univerally beloved and highly respected editor Kendell Cronstrom at the helm. Kendell is also the editor in chief of Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, and has had turns at some other top shelter and lifestyle publications, always with a keen eye for what inspires and what works in home design at the highest level.
I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Cottages & Gardens CEO and Publications Director Marianne Howatson and Kendell, and they are truly up to big things. Sad to report, I have zero scoop on the contents of the first issue, which they are keeping tightly under wraps for now. I am looking forward to the pre-launch party of the debut March 2012 issue next week, and will circle back then with more scoop then.
