Veranda Redefines the Meaning of “Dream Home”

We’re fans of Dara Caponigro’s editorial viewpoint in VERANDA magazine. In April she covered the return of romance. Her team gathered stories of homes, each beautiful and sophisticated, but that wasn’t the point. In each place, the realization of the home’s design in some way helped facilitate another wish or dream of the homeowner that seemingly was unrelated to the home – career, relationship, artistic fulfillment. Sigh. That’s what it’s all about, right?

Dinner with Dara: designers serve up sparkling conversation

Once again we’re reminded that designers are among the most interesting and fun dinner companions. Carini Lang hosted a private dinner in our showroom in honor of the appointment of Dara Caponigro as Editor in Chief of VERANDA magazine. Twenty of New York’s most esteemed designers joined us at a long communal table for a celebration by candlelight.
